Role Description The Branch Manager role at Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Hapur.

The Branch

Manager will oversee branch operations, including business development, customer acquisition, loan origination, and portfolio management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. This role involves leading and mentoring the branch team, monitoring performance against targets, and implementing initiatives to improve productivity, customer experience, and asset quality.

partners, and stakeholders to expand Vastu’s reach, while managing risk, collections, and branch-level audits. Day-to-day responsibilities also include reporting key metrics to regional leadership and ensuring that branch processes align with Vastu’s standards of ethical conduct and financial inclusion.

Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop branch team members.

Proficiency in branch operations, loan processing, credit assessment, and portfolio management within housing finance or related financial services.

Experience in business development, customer relationship management, and local market outreach in peri-urban or rural segments.

Sound understanding of credit risk, collections practices, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with comfort in using technology platforms and reporting tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and relevant local languages.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional certification in finance or management is an advantage.

Prior experience in housing finance, NBFCs, banking, or retail lending, preferably in branch management or team leadership roles.

Ability to work on-site in Hapur, travel within the region as needed, and adapt to dynamic operational and market conditions.
