Embase Experience Mandatory | Remote Freelance Opportunity Scholastika Knowledge Base Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Biomedical Subject Matter Experts for an AI-response evaluation project supporting a global education and knowledge-services organisation.

This role is suitable for experienced biomedical researchers who can critically evaluate AI-generated scientific and medical content for accuracy, completeness, relevance and educational value.

This is not a general content-writing or annotation position. It requires advanced biomedical knowledge, an established research background and practical experience using Embase.

Mandatory eligibility requirements

Candidates must meet all the following requirements:

Completed PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Life Sciences or a closely related discipline

Minimum two years of qualified or research experience after completion of the PhD

Current or recent involvement in biomedical, medical or life-sciences research

Demonstrable hands-on experience using Embase

Currently based in India

Strong written English

Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week

Embase experience is non-negotiable. Applications without practical Embase experience will not be considered.

Primary responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated responses covering biomedical sciences, basic sciences and medical-school curriculum topics





Assess responses for scientific accuracy, completeness, relevance and educational utility

Verify scientific claims using credible biomedical literature and databases

Identify factual inaccuracies, unsupported conclusions, omissions and misleading statements

Review whether responses are appropriate for first- and second-year medical students

Apply defined evaluation criteria and scoring rubrics consistently

Provide clear, evidence-based feedback on response quality

Use Embase and other credible scientific sources to validate biomedical information

Complete asynchronous evaluation assignments within specified deadlines

Participate in quarterly evaluation cycles and ad-hoc assessment projects

Maintain consistency, confidentiality and attention to detail across all evaluations
