Role Description The Biogas Plant Operations Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in plants that are built across India, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the biogas plant. This position involves monitoring plant performance, ensuring optimal biogas production, and coordinating routine and preventive maintenance activities with technical staff and service providers. The role includes supervising plant personnel, managing shift schedules, enforcing safety and environmental compliance, and maintaining operational logs and documentation.
The Operations
Incharge will analyze process data,
identify deviations, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering and management teams to improve efficiency and reliability. The role also requires coordinating with suppliers, reporting operational status, and supporting adherence to regulatory and quality standards. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee biogas plant processes, workflow, and resource utilization.
Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills to lead plant staff, manage shifts, and ensure adherence to safety and performance standards.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret process data, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental, or related field) are beneficial.
Experience in biogas, biofuels, or process plant operations, along with knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, is an advantage.
Ability to work in office in Pune, handle field responsibilities, and respond to operational contingencies as required.
