Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic System Administrator Trainee to join our IT team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are eager to build a career in system administration and IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will assist in maintaining computer systems, networks, and IT assets while providing technical support to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems.
- Perform OS installation, updates, and software installations.
- Assist in configuring and troubleshooting LAN and basic network connectivity.
- Understand and work with IP addressing, VLANs, and network switches.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees.
- Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation.
- Ensure timely resolution of user-reported issues.
- Support system administrators in routine IT maintenance activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Operating System installation (Windows).
- Basic networking concepts (LAN, VLAN, IP Addressing, Switches).
- Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of desktop and laptop hardware components.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field).
- 0–1 year of experience in System Administration or IT Support.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools is an added advantage.
