The PGT Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Physics to senior secondary students, fostering conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking. The teacher will prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to Classes XI & XII as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE).
- Develop annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Conduct practical sessions and maintain laboratory safety and records.
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets, and assessment materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Prepare students for board examinations.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes.
- Ensure discipline and promote a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 25 years of teaching experience as a PGT Physics Teacher in a reputed school

- Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classroom technologies.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts through practical demonstrations and experiments.
