Location: Chennai
Experience: 6 TO 12 Years (JD also mentions minimum 3 years in IT Support/Siemens NX)

Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

Role Summary

The Tier1 MCAD Senior Support Engineer (Siemens NX) provides firstline technical support for Mechanical CAD (MCAD) systems using Siemens NX in an enterprise engineering setting. The role focuses on user onboarding, access provisioning, installation, licensing, environment configuration, and basic NX usage support.

Responsibilities:

- Provide L1 support for Siemens NX users and resolve application, login, and access issues.
- Manage and track incidents through Jira ticketing.
- Support user onboarding, access provisioning, and NX installations/configurations.
- Administer and troubleshoot FlexLM licensing issues.
- Ensure workstation readiness (OS, graphics drivers, VPN, hardware compatibility).
- Support basic Siemens NXTeamcenter PLM connectivity and data exchange.




- Maintain technical documentation and follow support processes.

Skills Required:

- Siemens NX user support, Install and configure NX versions, License usage and diagnostics
- Basic understanding of Siemens NX (Design and Drafting modules)
- NX and Team center PLM process (Lifecycle of part/Assy creation, Revision control, Approval process)
- Knowledge with the Operating systems Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
- Experience with Networking and Software configuration Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Support / Siemens NX in engineering environment
