Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Logistics, and Dispatch.
- Drive production planning and execution to achieve delivery commitments while maintaining optimum productivity and utilization.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements through robust quality management systems.
- Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Productivity, Rejection, Scrap, Downtime, Delivery Performance, and Cost.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize manufacturing costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Manage manpower planning, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
- Drive new product introduction (NPI), process improvements, and capacity expansion projects.
- Prepare and present plant performance reports, budgets, and improvement plans to senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree (MBA/Operations) will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a Plant Head, Factory Head,



or Senior Operations leadership role.
- Strong experience in Heavy Engineering and Sheet Metal Fabrication industries.
