Vedritam Group - Chennai (formerely known as DAV Group chennai, functioning under the aegis of Arya Samaj Seva Foundation was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

In this context, we would be interested in recruiting suitable candidates for the position of Accountant to manage the school's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- School accounting experience will be preferred.
- Robust working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel is mandatory.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities





- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Manage fee collection, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, and financial reports.
- Process payroll and maintain statutory compliance (TDS, GST, PF, etc., as applicable).
- Coordinate with auditors and support the annual audit process.
- Maintain financial records and ensure timely reporting.
- Work collaboratively with the school administration and other departments.
