Job Summary

We are looking for a System Support Engineer to manage and support IT/OT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring high availability of networks, servers, cybersecurity systems, and end-user IT support across both office and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support enterprise and shop-floor network infrastructure (VLANs, firewalls, and security controls).
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Support industrial systems including shop-floor PCs, barcode scanners, printers, and related hardware.
- Handle server maintenance activities such as patching, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity solutions including EDR, antivirus,



and secure access systems.
- Monitor IT infrastructure using tools such as Zabbix or equivalent.
- Troubleshoot production-critical IT/OT issues with minimal downtime.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and support procedures.
- Provide on-call and shift support as required in a manufacturing environment.
- Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet networking.
- Experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, VMware/Hyper-V.
- Understanding of endpoint security, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial hardware and connectivity issues.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, or VMware are preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing workplace following safety and ESD standards.
- Strong incident management and production support mindset.
