Quality Automation Specialist

Location: PAN India

Experience: 3.5 - 6 Years

Quality Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, plan, and execute comprehensive functional test scenarios across low-code/no-code business applications and automation workflows, ensuring high-quality and reliable product delivery.

- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks with a strong focus on Playwright (mandatory), along with experience in Selenium or similar tools as an added advantage.

- Build, execute, and maintain robust automated regression suites, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure consistency and reliability of test execution.

- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment throughout delivery.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks to validate backend services and integrations.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), promoting a quality-first mindset across the team.

- Lead defect triage, perform root cause analysis, and drive effective resolution to ensure continuous improvement.





- Create and maintain structured documentation including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and test reports using tools like Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 78 years of hands-on experience in software testing with strong expertise in functional testing and test automation.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

- Proven experience in building and maintaining modern automation frameworks; exposure to Selenium WebDriver or similar tools is a plus.

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile practices, test strategies, and test lifecycle management.

- Working knowledge of API testing frameworks and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar.

- Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms, automation workflows, and enterprise application ecosystems is desirable.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
