Role Description The Biochemistry Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in biochemistry for paramedical students, ensuring alignment with IPSM’s curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, clarifying complex biochemical concepts, guiding students in laboratory work, and assessing student performance through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations. The role involves providing academic support and mentorship, maintaining accurate academic records, collaborating with other faculty members to improve course content, and participating in departmental meetings and academic events.





The Biochemistry

Tutor is also expected to stay updated with developments in biochemistry and related medical sciences to integrate current knowledge into teaching. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram.

Qualifications

Robust subject-matter expertise in Biochemistry and related biomedical sciences, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.

Experience in academic instruction, tutoring, or classroom teaching, preferably with paramedical, medical, or life science students.

Hands-on experience with biochemistry laboratory techniques, safety practices, and practical demonstration skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to support diverse learners and encourage student participation.

Ability to design lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that align with institutional standards and learning outcomes.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple classes, evaluations, and administrative tasks.

Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Medical Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline; higher qualifications or teaching certifications are an advantage.

Comfort with basic educational technology (presentations, learning management systems, online resources) to enhance classroom delivery.
