Role Description The BIM Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in Velachery, focused on developing and managing high-quality BIM models for building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating 3D models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring accurate LOD standards, and coordinating with project engineers and designers to incorporate design changes. The role involves performing clash detection, supporting quantity take-offs, preparing shop and as-built drawings, and maintaining model integrity through structured quality checks.





The BIM Modeler collaborates closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project planning, construction sequencing, and documentation, while adhering to company BIM standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong BIM modeling skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Candidates should possess skills in clash detection, coordinated drawing production, and quantity take-offs for building and infrastructure projects.

Candidates should possess knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and model-based documentation workflows for shop and as-built drawings.

Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders on-site.

Relevant diploma or degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering, or a related field; BIM certification or formal training is an advantage.

Experience in construction or infrastructure projects (buildings, bridges, metros, railways, or utilities) and familiarity with project coordination processes is beneficial.

Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple modeling tasks while meeting deadlines are highly valued.
