Job Title: Billing Executive / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Design

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and verify client bills, subcontractor bills, and vendor invoices based on work progress and approved measurements.

Carry out quantity take-offs, measurements, and BOQ preparation from design drawings and site.

Monitor project budgets, cost control, and ensure billing aligns with project progress.

Track and maintain detailed records of all material consumption, labor, and subcontractor work.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams for billing data.

Assist in rate analysis and validating work done with market rates and contract terms.

Ensure timely submission and follow-up for RA bills and final billing with clients.

Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate cost estimation and billing.

Support in reconciliation of quantities and materials between site, vendors, and records.

Prepare cost reports, MIS,



and billing status updates for internal management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of interior project billing, costing, and estimation

Experience with BOQ, rate analysis, and quantity surveying

Attention to detail and accuracy in billing and documentation

Familiarity with site measurements, technical drawings, and specifications

Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP systems or BuildSmart)

Good communication and coordination skills

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field

4–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction billing

Prior experience in an interior design or turnkey fit-out company is highly preferred

Preferred Background

Experience with residential or commercial interior projects

Knowledge of contract terms, GST billing, and vendor payment processes

Comfortable working in a quick-paced, multi-project environment
