Billing Engineer

Rupali Construction is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity calculations, BOQs, and cost documentation for our construction projects. The role requires close coordination with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and the project management team.

Role & Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify client bills, contractor bills, subcontractor bills, and vendor bills.
- Prepare and maintain BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and other construction drawings.
- Prepare RA (Running Account) bills and maintain billing records.
- Check executed quantities against drawings, BOQs, and site measurements.
- Prepare rate analysis for civil and finishing works.
- Track project quantities, costs, variations, and additional work.
- Prepare and verify measurement sheets and supporting billing documents.
- Maintain material reconciliation and monitor consumption against planned quantities.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project coordinators for measurement and work-progress verification.




- Verify contractor claims and identify discrepancies before bill approval.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills, work orders, BOQs, measurements, and approvals.
- Assist management with project cost tracking and billing reports.

Requirements
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, measurements, BOQs, and billing processes.
- Knowledge of civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Valuable understanding of construction materials and standard measurement practices.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Previous experience in construction billing or quantity surveying will be preferred.
