Role Purpose

This role is accountable for the accurate, compliant, and timely administration of NIIT's employee benefits programmes - spanning group insurance schemes, reimbursement processing and vendor coordination. The role operates as the execution arm of the C&B; function, translating benefits strategy into a consistent, error-free NIITian experience. It requires a high degree of process discipline, vendor accountability, and the ability to manage operational complexity across a multi-location workforce without escalation to the C&B; Manager for routine matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and drive the organization's Health & Wellness agenda, ensuring effective adoption and sustained employee engagement.
- Administer the Company Car Policy end‑to‑end, including enrolment, exits, and query resolution.
- Ensure flawless, end‑to‑end execution of Annual Awards and Long Service Awards, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and governance.
- Manage complete administration of group benefit programs (Mediclaim, Term Life, Personal Accident), including enrolments, mid‑year changes, deletions, and renewals.
- Act as the primary coordination point with insurance TPAs and brokers, ensuring timely issuance of policies, e‑cards, endorsements, and maintenance of audit‑ready policy records.
- Own the end‑to‑end processing of NIITian insurance claims (cashless and reimbursement), serving as the operational liaison between employees, TPAs, and insurers to ensure SLA‑driven resolution.

- Maintain benefits data accuracy and integrity across HRIS platforms, ensuring employee and dependent records are current, reconciled, and audit‑compliant.
- Track, analyze, and drive benefits utilization, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Manage daily vendor interactions, escalate unresolved issues with complete documentation, and track closure against defined timelines.
- Monitor and report vendor SLA performance (claims TAT, query resolution, data accuracy), escalating deviations with evidence‑based corrective action recommendations.
- Compile and maintain historical claims data, utilization dashboards, and cost analyses to support annual renewals and re‑tendering exercises.
- Support operational rollout of the Rewards & Recognition platform, including NIITian onboarding, manager enablement, and first‑level support.
- Maintain recognition data and generate monthly adoption and utilization reports, including budget consumption by function and manager.
- Ensure all benefits enrolments, changes, and transactions adhere to statutory requirements, policy timelines, and audit standards.
- Produce monthly Benefits MIS, including claims ratios, utilization trends, and spend analysis by benefit category.
- Serve as the first point of contact for NIITians on benefits, insurance, and reimbursements,

resolving queries within SLAs and escalating complex cases with clear recommendations.
- Develop and deliver advantages communication collateral (onboarding guides, renewals, claim process documentation) in partnership with HR Communications.
- Conduct benefits awareness and open enrollment sessions, enabling NIITians to clearly understand and effectively utilize their benefit entitlements.

Stakeholder Complexity

Internal

- C&B; Manager - reporting line; receives strategic direction; escalates operational exceptions
- NIITians across all levels - benefits queries, claims support, and enrolment assistance
- HRIS - data integrity, system updates, enrolment records
- Finance - invoice processing, benefit cost reconciliation

External

- Insurance TPAs - cashless and reimbursement claims processing and authorisation
- Insurance brokers - policy documents, endorsements, and renewal coordination
- R&R; platform vendor - operational support, issue resolution

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 3 - 6 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably within a listed Indian company or an MNC operating at scale.
- Hands - on experience administering group mediclaim, term life, and personal accident insurance - including TPA coordination and claims lifecycle management.
- Working proficiency in HRIS platforms and advanced Excel for data management, reconciliation, and MIS generation.
