Job Summary The Batch Incharge is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing daily batch manufacturing activities as per production schedules. The role ensures accurate raw material dispensing, batch preparation, quality compliance, manpower management, and timely completion of production while maintaining GMP, safety, and company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute daily batch manufacturing as per the production plan.
- Verify and ensure the correct weighing and dispensing of raw materials according to the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
- Supervise batch mixing, blending, and processing activities.
- Ensure adherence to approved formulas, SOPs, and GMP guidelines.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for in-process checks and batch approvals.
- Monitor batch parameters such as mixing time, temperature, and process specifications.
- Maintain batch production records accurately and ensure proper documentation.
- Allocate work to operators and helpers and monitor their productivity.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and coordinate with the warehouse and PPC departments.
- Minimize material wastage and improve production efficiency.




- Ensure proper cleaning of equipment before and after batch processing.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping in the production area.
- Report production issues, deviations, breakdowns, or delays to the Production Manager.
- Train and guide production operators on SOPs, safety, and best manufacturing practices.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm., Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or any relevant qualification.
- Experience in perfume, cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or chemical manufacturing is preferred.

Experience

- 3to6 years of experience in batch manufacturing or production operations.
- Experience in perfume or cosmetic manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Understanding of Scada software.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Positive communication and coordination abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP is an advantage).
