Role Description The Barista role at ABRISTA is a full-time, on-site position based in Belagavi. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, taking orders, operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks or pastries, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.
The role involves processing payments, answering questions about menu items,
and ensuring that guests receive courteous and efficient service. The Barista is expected to work closely with the team, follow hygiene and safety guidelines, and support opening and closing duties as required.
Qualifications
- Solid customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Barista skills, including beverage preparation and familiarity with coffee equipment.
- Food Preparation skills to handle snacks, pastries, and basic café food items.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced, service-oriented workload.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills; comfort using point-of-sale systems.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
