Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js for high-traffic B2C applications.
- Own end-to-end system design, including service architecture, data flow, caching strategies, queueing, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Build and deliver AI-powered features leveraging LLMs and agentic AI capabilities.
- Utilize LLMs and AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Design efficient data models and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Integrate backend services with third-party platforms and external APIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues, improve system reliability, and ensure high application availability.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and scalable architecture for the backend platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric product features.

Ideal Candidate :

- 4 years of hands-on experience building scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Proven experience developing backend systems for consumer-facing (B2C) products at scale.
- Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and architectural decision-making.




- Excellent understanding of REST API development, service-oriented architecture, data structures, algorithms, and clean coding principles.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Robust debugging, problem-solving, and production support skills.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
