Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our growing developer team. This role is crucial in building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power our AI-driven resume screening platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining the core services and APIs that enable our innovative solutions to thrive and empower hiring teams globally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
- Implement robust APIs and services to support our web and AI applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and AI/ML engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and scalability.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.




- Contribute to the architectural design and technical roadmap of our backend infrastructure.
- Document technical specifications and maintain transparent code documentation.
- Stay updated with new technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our technical stack.

Required Qualifications:

- 0-3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Solid understanding of server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).




- Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
- Prior experience in the HR Tech domain or with AI/ML-driven products.
