Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture &
- Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices using PHP 8.4 and the Laravel framework.
- Cloud &
- Infrastructure : Deploy, manage, and monitor applications using AWS services and Docker containers. Take ownership of containerized deployments and contribute to infrastructure reliability and scalability.
- Database Management : Design and optimize MySQL databases for high transactional performance and data integrity.

Utilize

MongoDB and/or Redis for caching, session management, and high-performance data storage where appropriate.

- Event-Driven Architecture : Develop resilient, loosely coupled systems using asynchronous messaging patterns such as Amazon SQS, event-driven architecture, and background job processing.
- Testing &
- Code Quality : Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests following Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles. Ensure high code quality through code reviews, best practices, and continuous integration.
- Performance &
- Optimization : Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize services for scalability, reliability, and low latency.
- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features aligned with business requirements.
- Documentation &
- Best Practices : Create and maintain technical documentation, adhere to coding standards,



and contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

- Experience : 5-8 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
- Backend Technologies : Strong proficiency in PHP 8 , Laravel, RESTful API development, and Microservices Architecture.
- Databases : Extensive experience with MySQL database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Experience with MongoDB and Redis is an added advantage.

- Containerization : Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Cloud Platform : Good understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Event-Driven Architecture : Experience designing and implementing asynchronous, event-driven, or message-based systems using services such as Amazon SQS.
- Testing &
- Development Practices : Experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and version control using Git.
- DevOps &
- CI/CD : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Knowledge of Go for developing high-performance services or AWS Lambda functions.
- Experience with OpenSearch and Redis.
- Familiarity with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks for full-stack collaboration.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to work in an Agile setting.
