Role Overview

Koda is looking for a client-facing SEO/GEO Specialist who can own search strategy end-to-end: from execution to presenting results. You'll work directly with clients, translate data into clear business insights, and confidently defend your strategy/execution and numbers in the room.

Key Responsibilities

- Own SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy across client accounts — optimizing for both traditional search and AI-driven platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews).
- Lead client calls and presentations and communicate strategy, performance, and roadmaps with clarity and confidence.
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on-page optimization tailored to each client's business and buyer journey.
- Ability to manage 5-6 clients and deliver end to end.
- Track and report on rankings, traffic, visibility (including AI/LLM citation tracking), and lead generation using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.




- Build and present monthly performance reports that connect SEO work to business outcomes.
- Identify and execute white-hat link-building and content optimization opportunities.
- Stay ahead of algorithm and AI search trends, bringing recent tactics to client strategies proactively.

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally client-facing (agency or consulting background preferred).
- Can easily manage SEO/GEO for 5-6 clients (strategy and implementation)
- Working knowledge of GEO/AI search optimization — how LLMs surface and cite content.
- Strong command of Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Search Console.
- Solid grasp of technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data).
- A numbers-first mindset — comfortable pulling, interpreting, and presenting data independently.
- Confident, polished communicator who can run client meetings and handle questions on the spot.
- Proven track record of measurable SEO results (rankings, traffic, leads).
