Senior Java Backend Developer (Java 17, Spring Boot & Azure)

We are currently hiring for Senior Java Backend Developers (3 Positions) for one of our clients (a leading Software Services/Product Company) based out of Bengaluru.

We are looking for experienced backend engineers who are passionate about building highly scalable, cloud-native platforms for connected vehicle data ingestion, processing, analytics, and monetization.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, reactive programming, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures. This role offers above-market compensation along with standard advantages for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17 , Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Build cloud-native platforms for ingesting, processing, and serving large volumes of connected vehicle telemetry data.
- Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and API-based data products for internal and external consumers.
- Design and implement event-driven, distributed systems capable of handling high-throughput data processing.
- Develop reactive microservices using Spring WebFlux and reactive programming principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and highly available backend platforms.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Ensure high standards for scalability, security, maintainability, and software quality.





Required Skills / Primary Skills:

- 10 years of experience in Java Backend Development.
- Strong expertise in Java 17 .
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Spring WebFlux and Reactive Programming.
- Excellent experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building scalable, cloud-native backend applications.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and backend architecture.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and Agile software development practices.

Additional Skills:

- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Docker.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Monitor/Application Insights.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
