Role & responsibilities

Looking for local candidates from Ethiopia only for one of our Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash & Banking Operations: Managing complete banking operations, liasoning with banks, review of collections, funds flow planning, foreign payments, local payments, and petty cash payments. Bank reconciliations and addressing queries with support from the CFO.
2. Credit Control: Evaluating credit limit for customers, checking outstanding balances, adhering to sales policy, reviewing customer receivable ageing, and handling debit/credit notes under the guidance of the CFO.
3. Logistics: Ensuring accurate capture of orders, preparation of sales invoices, negotiation and approval of transporters, proper documentation of dispatch documents, and coordination with warehouse and transporters. Reporting to the Country Head.
4. Audit & Compliance: Maintaining books of accounts, preparing invoices, receivables follow-up, ensuring local compliance, meeting tax officers, companies act compliances, intercompany reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting auditors. Reporting to the CFO.

Asset & Record Maintenance: Maintaining records such as customer orders, sales invoices, expense invoices, fixed asset register, and tagging of fixed assets under the supervision of the CFO.
6. Admin: Maintaining personnel files, attendance records, and assets of the office. Reporting to HR/Country Head.
7. Trade Mark and Registration Liaisoning: Handling all trade mark registrations and liaising with consultants. Reporting to the Country Head.
8. Importation: Managing all importation activities from placing orders to arrival at the warehouse. Liaising with clearing agents under the Commercial department.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial and finance roles.
- Solid knowledge of banking operations, credit control, logistics, audit, compliance, and asset management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
