Position Title: Executive - Quality Assurance

Location: Chh. Sambhajinagar

Qualification

- Mandatory: BE / DME Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

- Minimum 06-08 years in the Automobile industry

Technical / Functional Knowledge & Skills

- Robust knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO/TS systems
- Experience in Supplier QA development and system implementation
- Skilled in document preparation, internal audits, process & product audits, SPC at various stages
- Hands-on with vendor improvements and special process sustenance verification
- Exposure to special processes: painting, powder coating, anodizing, welding, heat treatment
- Knowledge of casting, press parts, rubber parts, plastic parts
- Proficiency in CMM, Trimos, hardness tester inspection
- Expertise in PPAP / APQP, SPC, 7QC Tools
- Ability to generate & execute Kaizens, OPL, VA/VE ideas, process optimization
- Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office, 3D models, AutoCAD
- Good communication & presentation skills

Key Deliverables / Accountabilities

- Ensure zero internal customer complaints related to supplier products
- Maintain desired quality levels of supplier products
- Conduct vendor process & product audits as per plan with timely communication
- Drive at least 5 Kaizens per supplier per month
- Perform root cause analysis, action implementation & sustenance at supplier end
- Monitor daily rejections at supplier end and ensure corrective actions

Computer / System Knowledge

- SAP
- ISO/TS 16949
- PPAP, APQP
- TPM
