Role & responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production, packaging, warehouse, and dispatch activities.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Supervise production staff and ensure discipline, productivity, and efficient manpower utilization.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Work closely with the Procurement, Sales, and Logistics teams for production planning and order fulfillment.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Minimize production losses, wastage, and downtime while improving operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and statutory compliance within the plant.
- Supervise production reports, inventory records,



and operational documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best manufacturing practices.
- Report daily operational performance and key issues to the management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree is must
- 10-12 years of experience in plant operations, production, or manufacturing within the FMCG or food processing industry.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, and dispatch.
- Ability to solve operational problems and drive process improvements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
