AECOM Advisory is seeking an experienced consulting leader to support the growth of its Transportation and Logistics Advisory practice in India. This role focuses on strategic advisory, business development, client relationship management, and delivery of complex consulting engagements across the transportation and logistics sectors. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in expanding AECOM Advisory s market presence while advising clients on Supply chain strategy, Transportation and Logistics Infrastructure deployment, Infrastructure investment, and operational performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Market Outreach

Lead business development initiatives and originate strategic consulting opportunities within the transportation, logistics, and adjacent sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, contractors, developers, investors, and institutional stakeholders.

Identify emerging market trends, client priorities, and growth opportunities across transportation, logistics, supply chain and adjacent sectors.

Develop and execute market engagement and client growth strategies.

Represent AECOM Advisory in industry forums, skilled networks, and client discussions.

Engagement Delivery

Lead and oversee advisory engagements across:

o Transportation Infrastructure Feasibility, CAPEX OPEX

o Logistics Infrastructure Feasibility, CAPEX OPEX

o Warehousing

o Multimodal Logistics

o Supply chain strategy and optimization

o PPP, Transaction advisory and investments in Transportation Logistics

Serve as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives and government leadership.





Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams across multiple workstreams and geographies.

Drive narrative development and production of high-quality presentations, reports, and executive-level insights.

Provide quality assurance over analytical outputs, strategic recommendations, and client deliverables.

Proposal Process Management

Lead thought leadership, market positioning, and intellectual property development for the Transportation Logistics Advisory practice.

Lead proposal development activities for strategic pursuits.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop technical and commercial solutions.

Manage pricing, subcontractor coordination, risk reviews, compliance processes, and proposal submissions. Qualifications

MBA from a top-tier institute or leading global business school.
Minimum 15 years of experience in management consulting in transportation,
logistics, supply chain strategy, infrastructure advisory, or related advisory sectors.
Proven experience leading consulting engagements and business development
initiatives. Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and strategic
advisory delivery.
Experience working on logistics and supply chain operations, infrastructure planning,
transportation systems projects.
Exposure to government, PPP, or multilateral-funded infrastructure programs
preferred.
