As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead our manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence.

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Production Head/Production Manager from the Masterbatch, Polymer Compounding, or Plastic Processing Industry to oversee end-to-end production operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Twin Screw Extrusion, Engineering Plastic Compounds, and Masterbatch manufacturing while driving productivity, quality, cost optimization, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage day-to-day production operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and production resources.




- Knowledge of Twin Screw Extruders for Masterbatch and Engineering Plastic Compound manufacturing.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Monitor production planning and coordinate closely with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Process Optimization.
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards, SOPs, safety guidelines, and statutory compliance.
- Analyze production KPIs including OEE, downtime, rejection, yield, and machine efficiency, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and shop-floor teams to maximize operational performance.
- Ensure preventive maintenance coordination to minimize machine breakdowns and production losses.
- Support recent product trials, process validation, and successful commercial production.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, Chemical, or Plastic Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Production within the Masterbatch, Polymer Compounding, or Plastic Processing Industry.
- Hands-on expertise in Twin Screw Extrusion Technology.
- Strong understanding of Engineering Plastic Compounds and Masterbatch manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience handling large production teams.
- Sound knowledge of production planning, process improvement, quality systems, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Well-versed in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
