Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and CI/CD integration, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java

- Develop and enhance automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid, or BDD)

- Execute automated and manual test cases to validate functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design

- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing

- Maintain test reports and provide test metrics to stakeholders

- Ensure best practices in automation, coding standards, and test documentation





- Collaborate with Agile teams and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in Automation Testing using Selenium with Java

- Proficiency in Java programming

- Hands-on experience with TestNG / JUnit

- Experience in frameworks: Hybrid / POM / BDD (Cucumber)

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

- Experience with version control tools like Git

- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle

- Experience in executing tests on CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)

- Familiar with defect tracking tools like JIRA

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Valuable communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

- Experience with API automation (Rest Assured / Postman)

- Knowledge of SQL / Database Testing

- Exposure to Performance Testing (JMeter)

- Experience with Docker / Cloud testing

- Knowledge of Playwright or Cypress (added advantage)

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent
