Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits of retail stores, warehouses, and corporate departments.

- Verify stock, cash, gold, silver, diamond, and other inventory records.

- Perform surprise audits and physical inventory verification.

- Review sales, purchase, billing, and inventory transactions for accuracy.

- Identify operational gaps, financial discrepancies, and compliance issues.

- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, internal controls, and statutory regulations.

- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.

- Follow up on audit observations and monitor corrective actions.

- Coordinate with Accounts, Operations, Warehouse, and Store teams for audit-related activities.

- Support management in process improvement initiatives and risk assessment.

Preferred candidate profile

Eligibility

- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com)



or equivalent. M.Com/MBA (Finance) preferred.

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Retail Audit, or Inventory Audit.

- Experience in the jewellery or retail industry will be preferred.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.

- Willingness to travel across store locations as per business requirements.
