Role & responsibilities

- Lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems.

- Manage PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, VFD, and industrial communication networks.

- Develop and execute automation strategies to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

- Lead electrical and automation projects from concept through commissioning and handover.

- Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation issues to minimize production downtime.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.

- Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.

- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, procurement, and external vendors.

- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical and automation equipment.

- Mentor, train, and evaluate automation engineers and maintenance personnel.





- Identify opportunities for energy savings and process optimization.

- Support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives where applicable.

- Maintain backup programs for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial servers.

Technical Skills

- PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron, or ABB)

- HMI and SCADA development

- DCS systems

- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

- Servo systems and motion control

- Industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, CAN, OPC UA)

- Electrical panel design and power distribution

- AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN

- Industrial instrumentation and control systems

- Electrical safety standards and troubleshooting

- Energy management systems

- Industrial IoT and smart manufacturing concepts
