ABOUT THE ROLE

S2 Engineering is hiring for its Supply Chain Management department at the Corporate Office. The role is responsible for CAPEX equipment procurement for API and Formulation manufacturing projects — from supplier identification and negotiation through to on-time delivery and payment coordination.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech).
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in CAPEX equipment procurement for API / Formulation industries, preferably in the Pharma, API, or Formulation manufacturing sector.
- Strong experience in supplier selection, vendor evaluation, and price negotiation.
- Positive knowledge of new supplier development, source creation, and supplier identification.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, MS Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.




- Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement timelines simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills to work effectively with internal project teams, vendors, and finance teams. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle procurement activities for engineering and CAPEX-related equipment.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly purchase reports, and annual procurement presentations.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely material delivery as per project requirements.
- Support cost optimization through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
- Work closely with the Project Department to meet project priorities and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely supplier payments. Coordinate departmental activities and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships. HOW TO APPLY
