About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a vital role responsible for leading the design, development, and modernization of enterprise Java applications. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Java technologies, who can collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. The role involves engaging with clients for project briefings, providing technical consultation, overseeing project execution, and ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture and coding standards.

The Associate

Architect will also mentor team members, evaluate project data, and stay updated with the latest technological trends to continuously enhance service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a agile environment, primarily based in Mumbai or Bangalore.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Java application development and modernization, with 7-12 years of relevant experience. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Essential qualifications include hands-on experience with enterprise-level software development using J2EE/Spring Boot, API integration, and cloud architecture,



particularly AWS. Candidates should have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with tools like Git, Maven, and JFrog. Proficiency in developing REST and SOAP APIs, microservices architecture, and working with SQL or NoSQL databases is required.

Experience in cloud-based application deployment, security, and automation tools such as AWS CLI, SDKs, and AWS Transform Custom (ATX) is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work in Agile environments, and strong communication and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities The Associate Architect will be responsible for connecting with clients to understand project requirements, providing technical consultation, and overseeing the installation and project close-out reviews. They will support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring solutions are aligned with client needs and industry standards. Managing customer demands to maximize satisfaction and maintaining high-quality standards will be a key aspect of the role.

The candidate will negotiate project specifications, resources, and infrastructure requirements while creating comprehensive technical documentation. Supervising activities between internal and external resources to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery is essential. Evaluation of project data for accuracy and setting project targets and priorities will be part of the responsibilities.
