Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PSE package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Qualifications
- Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng),
or Qualified Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK).
- 12+ years of design experience in structural Engineering, experience working in the rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes assessment to detailed design.
- Exposure to International standards such as Euro Code, British Standards, AASHTO, AREMA, DMRB and Australian Standards
