Role Overview

The SAP HANA Application Security Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting security and authorization concepts for SAP S/4HANA systems. The role focuses on role design, Fiori security, access provisioning, and compliance, working closely with business and functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain end-to-end security and role concepts for SAP S/4HANA, including:
- Business roles
- Technical roles

- Perform role design, cleanup, and simplification aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
- Configure and manage SAP Fiori security, including:

- Catalogs
- Groups
- Spaces and Pages
- OData service authorizations

- Manage and maintain S/4HANA-specific authorization objects.
- Support user administration activities, including:

- Access provisioning
- Role assignments
- Troubleshooting authorization issues





- Work closely with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and functional teams to align security with business requirements.
- Support transport management, security testing, and cutover activities.
- Prepare and maintain security documentation, including:

- Role design documents
- Process flow documents and PDDs
- Audit evidence and compliance reports

Mandatory Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Application Security
- In-depth knowledge of:
- SAP authorization concepts
- Role design methodologies for S/4HANA

- Experience with SAP Fiori security configuration

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in ECC to S/4HANA conversion or implementation projects
- Exposure to audit and compliance requirements
- Understanding of transport and deployment processes in SAP landscapes
