The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for defining and executing the organization's technology vision, driving innovation, and strengthening the company's competitive advantage in the automotive manufacturing sector. Working closely with the CEO and COO, the CTO will lead technology strategy, accelerate new product development, enhance manufacturing capabilities, and ensure the organization is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Innovation

- Develop and execute a comprehensive 35 year technology roadmap aligned with the company's business objectives and future growth strategy.
- Lead technology initiatives focused on electric vehicles (EV), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), smart manufacturing, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging research, technology adoption, and continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing functions.

Research & Development Leadership

- Drive the Recent Product Development (NPD) lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to accelerate product innovation while reducing development cycle times.
- Identify emerging technologies and translate them into commercially viable products and solutions.

Financial & Stakeholder Management

- Establish R&D; priorities and optimize technology investments to maximize business value and long-term competitiveness.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals related to technology infrastructure,



manufacturing capability enhancement, and product innovation.
- Present technology roadmap updates, investment proposals, risk assessments, and ROI analyses to the Board and executive leadership on a regular basis.

Product Development & Quality Excellence

- Oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to ensure timely design validation, design freeze, and PPAP submissions.
- Drive "First Time Right" (FTR) initiatives through Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), CAE simulations, digital engineering tools, and robust validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer-specific requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Technology Foresight & Strategic Partnerships

- Continuously monitor global automotive trends, including electrification, autonomous driving, connected mobility, lightweight materials, and sustainability.
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies and assess their commercial potential.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, startups, and OEMs to accelerate innovation.

Manufacturing Technology & Operational Excellence

- Lead seamless technology transfer from R&D; to manufacturing, ensuring production readiness for new products and technologies.
- Oversee implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies, automation initiatives, and digital manufacturing solutions.
- Ensure successful qualification and validation of manufacturing equipment through IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.
- Support the introduction of EV-specific components and manufacturing processes while maintaining operational efficiency, quality, and scalability.
