- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in site assessments and working with vendors and contractors
- Familiarity with quality standards, FAT, and SAT processes
- Hands-on experience in FAT activities for major equipment
- Experience in FAT for critical equipment such as main transformers, preferably performed as an Electrical Engineer
- Solid understanding of solar power plant equipment, wind power equipment, and electrical equipment (converters, inverters, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS))
- Fluent in English
- Validate and monitor the EPC contractors engineering Quality Assurance processes for Solar and Wind power plant projects
- Ensure effective control of document revisions, engineering changes, and full traceability of approved drawings and specifications
- Review and verify engineering documentation (Design basis reports, Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), Layout drawings, Structural drawings, Electrical drawings, Civil drawings)
- Review, track, and monitor QC records (Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Material inspection reports, Installation records, Testing records, Commissioning records) submitted by EPC contractors
- Check FAT obligations (scheduling, coordination, report review, support) from the EPC contractor
- Ensure inspections and tests are conducted in accordance with approved ITPs, project specifications, and applicable standards
- Provide site support during Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of quality documentation required for project handover
- Monitor closure of punch-list items and quality-related observations
- The QA/QC and FAT Engineer Solar is responsible for ensuring that all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities executed by EPC contractors comply with project quality requirements, contractual specifications, applicable codes and standards, and industry best practices
- The role focuses on validating contractor quality systems, managing non-conformances, tracking punch-list closure, supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and reporting overall project quality progress.
