About Position:

We are looking for a Google SecOps Engineer to build and operate detection and response capabilities on Google Security Operations (Chronicle).

What You'll Do:

- Deploy, configure, and operate Google SecOps (Chronicle) for security monitoring and response.
- Onboard log sources, build parsers, and ensure healthy, normalized data ingestion (UDM).
- Develop and tune detection rules (YARA-L), use cases, and dashboards.
- Investigate alerts, support incident response, and drive detection improvements.
- Integrate SOAR/automation and threat intelligence into the SecOps workflow.
- Document detections, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Between 5 to 12 years of experience in security operations on Google SecOps (Chronicle).
- Hands-on experience with Google SecOps / Chronicle (or comparable cloud SIEM).
- Strong detection engineering skills, including YARA-L rule development.
- Understanding of security operations, threat detection, and MITRE ATT&CK.;
- Experience with log parsing, normalization (UDM), and data onboarding.
- Scripting skills (Python) and familiarity with SOAR and threat intel.
- Relevant security certifications are a plus.
