Qualification: a) Master in Science (Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Food)

b) Master / Graduate in Dairy / Food Technology

c) Skilled Courses / Certifications in Quality Management / Food

Safety / Member of Concerned Institute etc. will be an added advantage

Experience: Candidate must have minimum 15 years of experience in Dairy / Food

Industry (Preferably in MNC or Dairy Handling 5 Lacs Ltrs Milk / Day)

Gender: Male / Female

Languages: English /Hindi Mandatory

Nature of Experience:

Leading and Management of Complete Quality Function which includes Smooth Functioning of all laboratories, Guidance to team, Monitoring and Evaluating product quality results, setting goals and targets.

Product and Quality Knowledge of Market milk, Curd, Fermented product, Milk Powders, Paneer, UHT, Flavoured Milk, Sweets, Ice Cream, Butter and Ghee.

Well experience of handling various customers and regulatory / statutory audits

Knowledge and exposure of ISO-2200/FSSC 22000, GMP, GHP, GLP, TQM, HALAL, FSSAI, AGMARK, EIA , BIS Standards and Protocols Requirement

Well Conversant with Pasteurization, CIP, Cross Contamination Controls, Hygienic Engineering, Zoning requirement, Testing regime, protocols, effectiveness verification etc.

Air and Water Quality requirements for Dairy Plant

Experience on MS office, SAP,Food Safety Culture, Quality Circle, SPC, 6 Sigma etc.

Customer / Consumer Complaints Management like RCA, CAPA, Review of Sustenance

Exposure to latest laboratory equipment like FT-1, NIR etc., testing protocols and practices

Conducting and leading internal QMS audits and training to ensure process, food safety, CIP compliance as per FSMC

Coordination with Customers, Corporate Regional Quality Function, Marketing and Business Team, Milk Procurement and Suppliers





Review and providing inputs for product development and capacity expansion projects.

Packaging material artwork approval experience, legal requirement, specifications etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the complete Quality Function, ensuring effective operation of all quality laboratories and quality systems across the plant.
2. Establish, monitor, and review quality objectives, KPIs, and food safety standards to achieve organizational goals.
3. Ensure compliance with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP, GHP, GLP, HACCP, FSSAI, BIS, AGMARK, HALAL, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
4. Oversee quality assurance activities for dairy products including Market Milk, Curd, Fermented Products, Milk Powders, Paneer, UHT Milk, Flavoured Milk, Sweets, Ice Cream, Butter, and Ghee.
5. Manage customer, regulatory, certification, and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings and compliance gaps.
6. Drive food safety and quality improvement initiatives through implementation of SPC, Six Sigma, Quality Circles, and Food Safety Culture programs.
7. Lead investigation of customer and consumer complaints through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implementation of CAPA, and verification of effectiveness.
8. Ensure adherence to pasteurization, CIP systems, hygienic design principles, contamination control measures, zoning requirements, and testing protocols.
9. Coordinate with Production, Milk Procurement, Suppliers, Marketing, Corporate Quality, and Business Teams to ensure consistent product quality and operational excellence.
10. Review and approve packaging material specifications, artwork, product development initiatives, and quality requirements for capacity expansion projects.
