packet sniffers. Debug failures during pre-certification and official certification testing at both the PHY and MAC layers.
4. Log Analysis: Capture and analyze wireless network traffic using tools like Wireshark to identify root causes of connectivity, performance, or protocol-level WFA test failures.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with firmware, software, and hardware engineering teams to report bugs, provide detailed failure logs, and verify fixes.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test reports, certification matrices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the testing team.

3. Extensive knowledge of core WLAN concepts, including roaming mechanisms, QoS (WMM), and RF fundamentals.
4. Strong expertise in WLAN Security protocols (WPA2, WPA3-Personal/Enterprise, EAP methods like EAP-TLS, PEAP, etc.).
5. Hands-on experience with industry-standard wireless network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
6. Experience using the WFA Sigma Test Automation Framework and WFA command-line tools.
7. Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, UDP, IPv6).

Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Experience in automation scripting (Python, Bash, or Perl) to automate repetitive test cases.
2. Prior experience working with major Wi-Fi chipset vendors (e.g., Qualcomm, Broadcom, NXP, MediaTek, Intel).
