Roles and Responsibilities of an Assistant Professor of HistoryTeaching and Instruction

- Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions on world, national, and regional history.

- Prepare lesson plans, course syllabi, and digital learning materials.

- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, essays, presentations, and projects.

- Foster critical thinking and historical analysis among students.

Research and Scholarship

- Conduct original research in specialized areas of history.

- Write and publish research articles in peer-reviewed or UGC-approved journals.

- Present research papers at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops.

- Stay updated with current developments and emerging trends in historical research.





Student Mentoring and Academic Administration

- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, higher education, and career opportunities.

- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and field-based learning activities.

- Participate in departmental committees, accreditation processes, and institutional events.

- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and other academic administrative responsibilities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
