Role & responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure adherence to the production plan.
- Monitor machine performance and optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum downtime and wastage.
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMP, safety, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Monitor raw material consumption and minimize process losses.
- Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance department for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Train, guide,



and monitor production operators and shift staff.
- Ensure proper documentation of production records and batch records.
- Implement and monitor 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
- Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and workplace safety on the shop

Preferred candidate profile 3+ Years experience in Pharma manufacturing, API Manufacturing, Excipient manufacturing.
