About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Assistant Procurement Manager to strengthen our procurement team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing semiconductor and electronic components, developing supplier relationships, evaluating vendor quotations, and supporting the sales team with competitive pricing.

The candidate will play a key role in vendor development, procurement strategy, cost optimization, and ensuring timely and competitive quotations for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Development & Management

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new domestic and international suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, authorized distributors, and independent suppliers.
- Continuously expand the vendor network to improve sourcing capability and pricing competitiveness.
- Assess vendor performance based on pricing, quality, delivery, and service.

Procurement & Quote Analysis

- Analyse quotations received from suppliers considering pricing, lead time, MOQ, authenticity, packaging, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Identify alternate sourcing options for hard-to-find and obsolete components.

Vendor Comparison & Commercial Review

- Review procurement team's vendor comparison reports for accuracy and commercial viability.
- Recommend the most suitable sourcing option based on cost, reliability, lead time, and risk.
- Ensure procurement decisions align with company profitability targets.

Sales Support





- Finalize and release the best commercial quotation to the Sales team.
- Work closely with Sales to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Provide procurement insights on market trends, shortages, and pricing fluctuations.
- Support urgent customer requirements with quick sourcing solutions.

Market Intelligence

- Monitor semiconductor market trends, allocation situations, and pricing movements.
- Track manufacturer updates, EOL (End of Life), and PCN (Product Change Notification) announcements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and alternative sourcing.

Process Improvement

- Maintain procurement documentation and vendor databases.
- Ensure timely closure of RFQs and purchase activities.
- Drive continuous improvements in procurement efficiency and sourcing strategies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor or electronic components procurement.
- Experience working with manufacturers, franchised distributors, and independent distributors.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor product categories including ICs, Microcontrollers, Power Devices, Passive Components, Sensors, Connectors, and Memory products.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, import procurement, and international sourcing.
