Role & responsibilities :

The S & OP Production Planner translates demand forecast into executable production and dispatch plans, ensuring alignment between supply capacity and business demand. This role sits at the heart of the Sales & Operations Planning cycle and works cross-

functionally with Sales, Production, and Procurement, to deliver on-time, in-full service levels while optimising inventory and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive end-to-end Sales and Operations (S & OP) planning, maintaining the production plan aligned to the consensus demand plan on a rolling 3-month horizon.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to build and validate the demand plan, and organize periodic S & OP meetings including Demand Review, and Production Review.
- Create a day-wise production plan cascaded across day, week, month, and quarter horizons.




- Balance supply and demand by identifying gaps and capacity constraints; determine tradeoff decisions required and secure sign-off from the Plant Head and Sales Director before execution.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to develop the RM procurement plan in line with the production plan.
- Identify production risks and opportunities; escalate and resolve issues proactively with key stakeholders.
- Generate and maintain KPI dashboards including production plan attainment, schedule adherence, OTIF, and inventory health.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
