Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Shahjahanpur, supporting the Mining and Construction Equipment business. This role involves coordinating daily operations related to sales, service delivery, and maintenance activities, ensuring that project timelines, quality standards, and customer commitments are met.

The Assistant

Manager will assist in planning and monitoring equipment deployment, maintenance schedules, spare parts availability, and service contracts, working closely with field teams and engineering staff.





Responsibilities include reporting on performance metrics, supporting budgeting and cost control initiatives, and maintaining accurate documentation for projects, contracts, and compliance. The role also requires regular interaction with customers to address operational issues, support after-sales service, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications Strong operational and project coordination skills, with experience managing daily activities in engineering, mining, heavy equipment, or related industrial environments.

Knowledge of mining and construction equipment, maintenance practices, and service contract management, with the ability to support technical and field teams.

Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of MS Office or similar tools for tracking projects, costs, and performance metrics.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain professional relationships with customers and partners.

Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mining) or a related technical field; relevant experience in mining or heavy equipment service is highly beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Shahjahanpur, adapt to field conditions, and travel to job sites as required.

Familiarity with Tata/Voltas or large industrial organizations’ processes and standards is an advantage.
