Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who will be responsible for generating and closing business opportunities for Lithium-ion Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar + Storage Solutions, and Industrial Backup Power Systems in the Commercial & Industrial Segment.

The role requires identifying current business opportunities, managing customer relationships, delivering technical sales presentations, and successfully closing B2B sales opportunities across India.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

- Identify and develop new business opportunities for BESS, Solar + Storage, and Industrial Backup Power Systems in the C&I; segment.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation, proposal development, techno-commercial negotiations to order closure.
- Meet and exceed assigned revenue and order booking targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

Customer & Market Engagement

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and channel partners.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Understand client power requirements and recommend appropriate energy storage solutions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business opportunities.
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and identify new industry verticals for business expansion.




- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings across India.

Technical & Proposal Support

- Collaborate with the technical team to prepare customized proposals, system sizing, and financial models for clients.
- Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and ROI-based sales pitches to decision-makers.
- Ensure smooth handover to project and operations teams post-order closure.

Reporting & CRM

- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports in CRM tools.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to the leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience

- B. Tech / B.E. (optional); MBA preferred but not mandatory
- 5+ years of experience in technical B2B sales in energy, electrical, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record in selling BESS, Solar EPC, Industrial UPS, Power Quality Solutions, Electrical Equipment, or EV Charging Infrastructure
- Experience handling large C&I; accounts and high-value deal closures independently
- Willingness to travel extensively across India

Skills & Competencies

Technical Competencies

- Strong understanding of Lithium-ion BESS, Solar + Storage, and Industrial Power Systems
- Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, technical specs, and tender documents
- Techno-commercial proposal preparation and ROI/financial modelling
- CRM tools and sales pipeline management

Behavioural Competencies

- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, high ownership, and result-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage complex, long sales cycles
- Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional coordination abilities

Language Requirements

- Fluent English
- Hindi/ Telugu (at least one mandatory)
- Additional regional languages are a plus

Pay: From ₹65,000.00 per month
