Resolve Customer complaints and line concerns through ICA/PCA, root cause analysis Implementation.
- Ensure assembly process adherence to drawings and SOPs for defect-free output. Identify process gap and corrective actions with cross-functional teams (CFT).
- Manage change control, FTR approvals, PPAP and APQP documentation for current models. Maintain quality documentation, traceability, and update Control Plans, SPC, MSA, SOPs, FMEAs.
- Ensure on-time closure of quality gateways and project deliverables.
Attend daily quality meetings and release MIS reports.
- Sustain QMS as per ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 standards.
- Conduct process & product audits on transmission assembly lines.
- Oversee gear manufacturing Hobbing, shaving, honing, grinding, Laser welding and heat treatment.
- Validate FTR for setup & ensure gear lead, profile, runout, and surface finish.
- Optimize Laser welding process and reduce rejections.
- Perform inspections using Auto roll testers, surface/profile testers, and runout gauges.
