1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities

Major Activities

- Collaborate with local land aggregators to supervise the scope of work for land acquisition and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct a prima-facie review of land documents and verification, and maintenance of land documents required for legal due diligence..
- Review land deeds, prepare necessary documentation, and finalize them for execution, signing and registration of deeds
- Liaise with land aggregators, landowners, and government officials to expedite land acquisition, registration, and other necessary approvals.
- Coordination with local counsel,if required, to conduct title

searches and handleany related litigation.
- Procure all original documents from land aggregators and/or government authorities and maintain proper records.
- Support and facilitate thecompletion of government surveys and demarcation for the project land post-acquisition, maintaining accurate records.
- Provide support to construction and operation teams in resolving any land-related issues, including Right of Way (RoW) matters.
- Cultivate robust relationships with local government authorities to streamline compliance processes and ensure smooth construction and operation activities.
- Follow up with internal departments to ensure timely payment of statutory obligations.




- Maintain safe custody of original land documents and ensure proper documentation
- Assist in RoW-related activities, market intelligence, and stakeholder coordination.

1. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications
- Any graduate. Engineer / Law graduate preferred.

Functional Skills
- Experience in land acquisition, preferably in the real estate or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of land acquisition regulations, and procedures
- Understanding of litigations procedure at local level
- Excellent negotiation and communication skill
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Relevant and total years of Experience
- Overall experience: 5+ years in power sector having worked in Maharashtra
