Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager - Investigations to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in investigations and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or other violations of company policy
- Interview witnesses, review documents, and gather evidence to support investigative findings
- Analyze data to identify patterns or anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing investigative findings and recommendations for corrective action
- Maintain accurate and complete records of investigations and related activities
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent fraudulent activity
- Provide training and guidance to other employees on fraud prevention and detection
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fraud prevention and detection
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in investigations, preferably in a corporate workplace
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to fraud prevention and detection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Certification in fraud examination or related field is a plus
