Role Description The Assistant Manager Indirect Procurement is responsible for managing procurement activities related to indirect materials and services, including facility-related supplies, MRO items, office equipment, and corporate services. This role oversees supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance monitoring to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply. Daily tasks include analyzing spend data, developing sourcing strategies, issuing and evaluating RFQs/RFPs, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as operations, finance, and engineering to understand requirements.

Manager will ensure compliance with company policies, support process improvements in procurement,



maintain accurate procurement records, and help resolve supplier issues. This is a full-time, in office role based in Pune City.

Qualifications

Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis for indirect materials and services.

Experience in supply chain and logistics coordination, including vendor management, lead time optimization, and inventory awareness for indirect items.

Proficiency in using ERP or procurement systems, along with solid skills in MS Excel and other analytical tools for spend analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of procurement policies, compliance standards, and basic commercial and legal terms related to purchasing agreements.

Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present procurement recommendations clearly.

Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.

Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry procurement is beneficial, particularly in an international or multi-site environment.
