Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer who excels in analytical thinking and is adept at translating complex data into insightful reports. This role acts as a critical link between business stakeholders and data, converting data into clear, actionable visuals. The candidate must be proficient in Power BI, data visualization, DAX, SQL queries, and data modelling.

Responsibilities :

- Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
- Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
- Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
- Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
- Keeping up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends

Power BI Report Development:

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create and maintain efficient data models and datasets in Power BI.
- Develop custom visualizations and calculations using DAX and Power Query.
- Design and develop interactive visual reports, KPI scorecards,



and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.

Data Modeling, Integration and Transformation:

- Integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other databases.
- Wrangle data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis.
- Apply data modelling best practices to support robust and scalable BI solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Masters degree, or Advanced technical degree.
- 4-6 years industry experience in Power BI, Data Visualization, DAX, SQL queries and Data modelling.
- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be creative.
- Candidate should be Ok to work in US shift timings and may change based on projects.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, Power Apps.
- Should be an expert in data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server for data manipulation and extraction.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
